Sabiha Iqbal
Sabiha Iqbal earned her Ph.D. in economics from the School of Business and Economic, University of Maryland and has been a professor of economics for the past twenty six years. She has studied painting with Mira Hecht at the Corcoran School of Art and Design at George Washington University and Natasha Mokina at the Winter Palace Studio. She has shown her work at the Corcoran Gallery, Winter Palace Studio, The Watergate Gallery and Glenview Mansion Gallery. She draws her inspiration from real and imagined forms of nature. Recently her work has moved to abstract figuration which for her is a unique avenue of expression about the human condition.
