Cheryl Ann Bearss is an artist who works in an expressionistic style.

Often figures from the past haunt the surface of her paintings.  Cheryl works in acrylic, oil, and pastels.  In addition to her figurative work, she paints non-objective neutral paintings where the paint splatters and drips across the canvases. She also has an abstract tree series that emphasizes roots and growth.

 

Cheryl has been an artist for over 30 years.  She has a Masters in Art from Indiana University.  Her work has been shown in shows across the DC area as well as across the country in Orange County, CA,  Chicago, IL,  Minneapolis, MN. She is currently working with a group of Corcoran artists.  She has a studio and

gallery in Falls Church, VA.
